At Exydio, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered business automation platform.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our services, or contact us for support. This may include:
Name and contact information (email, phone number)
Business information (company name, industry)
Payment information (processed securely through our payment providers)
Usage data and analytics
Communication preferences
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and improve our services
Process transactions and send related information
Send technical notices, updates, and support messages
Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and abuse
SMS and Mobile Information
We collect a mobile phone number and SMS consent status in order to send transactional text messages (appointment confirmations and appointment reminders) on behalf of the business you contacted.
How consent is obtained. Consent is collected verbally during a phone call. When you book an appointment through our AI phone agent, the agent asks whether you would like to receive a text message confirmation and reminders. Your answer is recorded against your contact record with a timestamp. If you decline, no text message is sent. Consent is never assumed, is never bundled with any other agreement, and is not a condition of booking an appointment.
Opting out. You may reply STOP to any message at any time to stop all further messages. Reply HELP for assistance. Full program terms are available in our SMS Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Connected Calendars
If you connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, Exydio requests only the access needed to keep your bookings in sync. Specifically:
Exydio creates a separate calendar named “Exydio Bookings” on your account during setup
Exydio adds, updates, and cancels events only on that calendar
Exydio does not read, copy, export, or change your other calendars or the events on them
Calendar data is used only to operate the booking and scheduling features you have turned on. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models
You can disconnect at any time from your Exydio settings or from your Google or Apple account, which revokes our access immediately
Exydio’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes:
Encryption of data in transit and at rest
Regular security assessments and audits
Access controls and authentication measures
Employee training on data protection
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access your personal information
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to processing of your data
Data portability
Withdraw consent at any time
Third-Party Services
We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:
Payment processing
Cloud hosting and storage
SMS and voice delivery (Twilio)
Analytics and monitoring
Customer support tools
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
