SMS opt-in

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Exydio sends appointment confirmations and reminders by text on behalf of the service businesses that use our platform. Nobody receives a text until they agree to it, out loud, on the booking call. This page shows exactly what is said.

How consent is collected

When a caller books an appointment by phone, our AI agent asks for consent before any text message is sent. This is the exchange, word for word:

Agent
"As part of your booking, [Business Name] can send you automated text messages with your appointment confirmation and reminders - typically three messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile phone plan. At any time you can reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out completely. Would you like to receive these text messages?"
Caller
"Yes."
Agent
"Great - you will receive a confirmation text shortly."

[Business Name] is replaced with the name of the business the caller contacted.

Program description

Exydio sends transactional appointment notifications by SMS on behalf of the service businesses that use our platform. Messages are limited to:

  • A booking confirmation, or a notice that the booking request was received and is awaiting confirmation
  • Reminders about 24 hours and 2 hours before the appointment
  • A notice if the appointment is cancelled

This is not a marketing program. We do not send promotional or advertising messages through it.

What you are agreeing to

  • Consent is not a condition of booking an appointment or of any purchase.
  • Message frequency varies. Each appointment generates typically three messages: one confirmation and two reminders, plus a notice if the appointment is cancelled.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

The full program terms are in our SMS Terms, and how we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
